Jack

This blog is dedicated to a dog named Jack who resided at the Bangor Humane Society for two months. While there Jack and I participated in the Dog's Day Out program. At first it was just a morning walk, which eventually turned into many over-nights. I never could understand why he did not get adopted sooner, but then decided to write a bio to let others no what a sweet dog he was - a true gentleman. Soon after this, he found his forever home. Many tears were shed on this day - tears of joy for him and a few tears just because he will be missed. He was the best and I hope his new owners realize how fortunate they are!!!

Introducing Lola

On February 26, 2011 a dog named Lola entered the Littlefield home and stole their hearts. The good news about Lola is that she gets along great with other dogs, so the Dog's Day Out Blog will continue being posted. It will now also be able to say how the dogs from the Bangor Humane Society get along with Lola.

Dog's Day Out

Karen Littlefield
Stillwater, Maine
As part of a program at the Bangor Humane Society, I have been taking dogs to my home to give them a much needed break from the shelter. While at my home I observe how the dog reacts, his likes and dislikes and post it into this blog. My hope is that this will give a more accurate view of these dogs who are very deserving of a forever home. Feel free to contact me at klittlefieldphotography@roadrunner.com
